NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Football held its annual Pro Day at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex Wednesday afternoon.

Former Monarchs Poncho Barnwell, Tyler Burns, Malique Johnson and Fellonte Misher, as well as Norfolk State linebacker, Deon King, worked out in front of NFL scouts.

On a beautiful afternoon, the day started inside with the vertical jump with Misher leading the way for ODU with a leap of 32 inches.

Malique Johnson notched a long jump of 9.3 before the workout headed into the weight room for the bench press.  Tyler Burns pumped out 29 reps at 225 pounds, which would have been tied for 11th at the NFL Combine.  Poncho Barnwell had 22 reps.

Pro Day moved outside for the 40-yard dash, shuttle run, 3-cone drill and position work.

The Monarchs begin spring practice on Tuesday, March 22.  All practices are closed to the public but fans can check out ODUSports.com for highlights, interviews and photos of all practices.
