ODU Wins 400 Medley Relay on Day Three of CCSA Championships

ATHENS, Ga. - Old Dominion University men's swimming and diving won its first ever CCSA Championship event in the 400 medley relay in day three of the championships on Friday night.

Anton Mikaelsson, Jacob Zeidler, Reed Mathews and Vitor Sa won the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:14.33.

Anton Mikaelsson finished in third place in a time of 3:51.38 in the 400 IM and record an NCAA B-cut time.

Reed Mathews followed with another NCAA B-cut time to finish in second place with a time of 46.61 to finish just .09 out of first.

The streak of NCAA B-cut times continued as Vitor Sa registered a 1:37.87 to finish third in the 200 free.

Jacob Zeidler and Philip Nordenberg added two more NCAA B-cut times in the 100 breaststroke. Zeidler notched a third place finish with a time of 55.12 while Nordenberg was fourth in 55.19.

The fourth and final day of the championship begins tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
