The No. 42 Arkansas women’s tennis team is looking to put a stop to their two match home-losing streak. The Razorbacks are led by their No. 41 nationally ranked doubles team with Yuliya Lysa and Shannon Hudson.
“We know what to expect from Old Dominion as our match last year was extremely spirited,” Arkansas women’s tennis head coach Michael Hegarty said. “We look forward to testing ourselves against more quality competition.”
The Monarchs traveled to Fayetteville to face Arkansas last year when the Razorbacks were ranked No. 41 in the country. Old Dominion lost a competitive match, 3-4, when the Lady Monarch duo of Nikol Hristova and Borislava Botusharova defeated Arkansas’ Yuliya Lysa and Shannon Hudson 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
