Three Monarchs Tabbed VaSID All-State

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- A total of three Old Dominion Monarchs landed on the Virginia Sports Information Director All-State (VaSID) teams, the organization announced on Monday.

Ivan Militar was the lone ODU representative on the first team. The senior midfielder tied for the team lead in scoring this season with 13 points on four goals and a team-high seven assists. The Hungary native was also named first team All-Conference USA this year.

Michael Nelson and Niko Klosterhalfen both garnered second team honors for ODU. Nelson, a senior defender from Austin, Texas, started all 16 games at center back, scoring one goal and adding one assist. Nelson was also named first team All-CUSA and NSCAA All-Region. Klosterhalfen, a freshman midfielder from Germany, tallied four goals and three assists on the year, and was named C-USA's Freshman of the Year.

Radford swept the major awards, as Marc Reeves was named Coach of the Year and Daehile Sivert was named both Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
