ORLANDO, Fla. – After winning her first four matches this weekend at the 2015 USTA Clay Court Championships, Ingrid Vojcinakova of Old Dominion’s women’s tennis fell in the Finals of the Garnet Draw to Clemson Fernanda Navarro by a score of 6-4, 6-2.
On Saturday, ODU’s junior from Zilina, Slovakia knocked off two of Virginia Tech’s top players. In the Quarterfinals against Virginia Tech’s Raluca Mita on Saturday, which aired live in HD on ESPN 3, it was Vojcinakova who pulled out the straight set victory (6-3, 7-5), placing her in the Semifinals.
