SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Old Dominion University football travels to San Antonio, Texas to take on UTSA Saturday at 7 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast on the American Sports Network.

• Sophomore running back Ray Lawry broke his own single-season rushing record he set a season ago last week as he carried 26 times for 136 yards against WKU.  Lawry has 966 yards and is just 34 shy of becoming ODU’s first 1,000 yard rusher.

• Junior wide receiver Zach Pascal recorded his second 100-yard receiving game of the season with seven receptions for 100 yards. He also had two carries for 11 yards. It was the fifth 100-yard receiving game of his career.

• Sophomore wide receiver Jonathan Duhart had a career-best five catches and had the first two touchdown game of his career last week at WKU.

• Senior safety Fellonte Misher had an ODU high nine tackles while redshirt freshman safety Sean Carter had a career-high eight stops. Carter made the first start of his career in place of injured starter Justice Davila.

• Junior linebacker TJ Ricks added seven tackles while Martez Simpson registered seven tackles and a tackle for loss.

• Old Dominion is 17-2 all-time in November, including 3-1 each of the last two seasons. The only two losses were at UNC in 2013 and at Vanderbilt last season.

Experienced Safety
A week after being held to two tackles at FIU, Fellonte Misher led ODU with nine stops in the loss to WKU.

Senior Fellonte Misher recorded a career-best 14 tackles in ODU’s 37-34 victory over Charlotte. A week after suffering a first half injury against Marshall, Misher came back with avengence against the 49ers with 14 tackles and a tackle for loss. He passed John Darr for second on ODU’s all-time tackle charts.

Misher had two tackles at FIU,  a week after moving into second all-time for ODU.

Linebackers Reign
Despite playing the pas-happy Hilltoppers and the open offense, linebacker TJ Ricks registered seven tackles for the Monarchs

A week after breaking the ODU single-game record for tackles, TJ Ricks had a game-high nine stops at FIU. A former walk-on, Ricks leads Conference USA with 11 tackles per game and is

TJ Ricks broke Craig Wilkins’ single-game tackles record with 18 tackles in the win over Charlotte. Ricks added two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

He has a team-high 84 tackle, five pass breakups, five pass breakups, three tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and a sack.

He is tied for 13th in the country with 10.5 tackles per game and leads Conference USA in tackles per game.

Simpson Sack
Martez Simpson recorded his second-consecutive game with seven tackles and a tackle for loss. He moved into fourth on the team in tackles with 40 and third in tackles for loss.

Simpson had a season-high seven tackles, a forced fumble and his first career sack last week at FIU.  He is tied for fifth on the team with 33 tackles along with three tackles for loss.

Second Year Receivers Shine
Last season Vincent Lowe, Jonathan Duhart and Marques Little slowly adjusted to the college game. The trio combined for just 32 receptions on the year.

This season that trio already has a combined 49 receptions.

Duhart had a career-best five catches and two touchdowns against WKU while Little notched his second touchdown of the season and fifth of his career.
