FLUSHING, N.Y. -- Adam Moundir and Aziz Kijametovic are poised to represent Old Dominion men’s tennis in the doubles division of the 2015 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. from Thursday, Nov. 12 until Sunday, Nov. 15. The tournament central page, found here, can be accessed for live scoring and updates throughout the event.

Closing out the fall portion of the Monarchs’ season, Moundir and Kijametovic are set to begin play on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. against Georgia Gwinnett’s Jordan Cox and Kevin Konfederak. The full list of entries in the 20-team bracket can be found here.

Moundir and Kijametovic punched their tickets to the championship event after capturing the crown at the regional championships at Virginia Tech in October. Entering as the No. 6 seed, the Monarch duo stormed into the finals where they defeated the pair of Virginia Tech’s No. 5 seeded Amerigo Contini and Edoardo Tessaro in a best-of-three showdown. Moundir and Kijametovic dropped the first set by a 6-2 score but came back to triumph in the final two sets by a 6-4 and 10-8 count, respectively.
