NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion wrestling team held its annual Blue-Silver Intrasquad Wednesday evening with three preliminary matches taking place in the wrestling room at 6 p.m. before the main event took place at 7 p.m. in the Jim Jarrett Athletic Administration Building Gym.
The Monarchs open up the season this weekend at the Clarion Open on Sunday, Nov. 1. Alexander Richardson will also compete on the same day at the 50th Annual NWCA All-Star Classic in Atlanta when he will represent ODU against No. 4 BJ Clagon of Rider. The event will be aired live on ESPNU beginning at 5 p.m.
