NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University linebacker TJ Ricks and wide receiver Zach Pascal were named Conference USA Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, the league announced on Monday.
Pascal hauled in a career-best 11 catches for 231 yards and three touchdowns in Old Dominion's 37-34 win over Charlotte. Both his catches and yards were the second most in school history while his three TD's tied a school record. His 231 receiving yards is the fourth most by a receiver this season.
Ricks' 18 tackles broke Craig Wilkins' single game record of 18 and he also added two tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Ricks is currently tied for fourth in the country with 11.3 tackles per game.
