CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Nikol Hristova and Marijana Novakovic teamed up to win the doubles tournament championship, while Ingrid Vojcinakova and Hristova claimed victory in the consolation finals in their respective singles flights at the 2015 UVA Fall Invite on the campus of the University of Virginia over the weekend.
Hristova and Novakovic teamed up to win the Blue Flight doubles tournament, taking down opponents from Utah, UVA and Marshall along the way.
Vojcinakova went 3-1 on the weekend in the Blue Flight, with her last victory coming against Maryland’s Kristina Hovsepyan in the Consolation Finals in straight sets (6-4, 6-3).
Hristova also went 3-1 over the three days in singles action, as she took down Andreea Badileanu of Miami (Ohio) in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) in the Consolation Championship. Miami’s Badileanu was named to All-MAC team last year.
In the White Flight, Marijana Novakovic handled business to claim seventh place, when she defeated George Washington’s Victoria Kogan in a tight three-setter (6-2, 4-6, 15-13).

Old Dominion will have a weekend off of competition before traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C. to take part in Wake Forest’s Fall Invitational Oct. 9-11th.
