CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team will hit the road for the UVA Fall Invite this weekend, as the Lady Monarchs will compete in the event from Friday, Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Snyder Tennis Center in Charlottesville, Va.

Last weekend, ODU opened up the season at the William & Mary Tribe Invitational, where freshman Nataliya Vlasova was named to the All-Tournament Team in her first collegiate competition. Vlasova defeated opponents from Penn, Marshall and claimed a victory over West Virginia in doubles action while paired with Adriana Rajkovic.

This year’s field at the UVA Fall Invite includes the host school, Virginia, as well as Arkansas, George Washington, Marshall, Maryland, Miami (Ohio), ODU and Utah.

Tennis action is slated to begin Friday at 9 a.m., as the event will begin with white, blue and orange division doubles play.

LOOKING AHEAD FOR THE LADY TENNIS MONARCHS
Next up, the Lady Monarchs will take on the Wake Forest Invite from Friday, Oct. 9 until Sunday, Oct. 11 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
