Fall Camp Update - Day Four

NORFOLK, Va. - The fourth day of practice is in the books for Old Dominion University football, as the Monarchs practice this morning in shoulder pads and helmets for the second-straight day.

The practice last just over two hours and featured several highlights.

  • The defense continued its solid play early on as Daniel Appouh and Reece Schmidt recorded sacks while Miles Fox notched a tackle for loss and then followed with a sack a few players later.
  • For the second-straight day a defensive lineman intercepted a pass, today it was redshirt freshman Pat Toal.
  • In the last team period of the day, the Monarchs worked on red zone scenarios, with the offense scoring on all four possessions. Jeremy Cox scored on a pair of runs while Colin McElroy connected with Eri'Reon Hayes and Shuler Bentley tossed a score to Zach Pascal.

ODU will practice in full pads for the first time tomorrow.
