Q: Why did you choose Old Dominion?
A: I really felt the love when I came up for my visit during the spring game. It felt like a family, and it felt like home.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hampton Roads?
A: It’s the atmosphere, especially on game day. I’ve heard it’s really live, and I like that.
Q: What is your major?
A: Sports management
Q: When did you start playing football?
A: When I was eight.
Q: What got you into football?
A: My parents brought up the idea. Then they got me Madden ’05 the video game, and I fell in love with it.
Q: Have you always played defensive tackle?
A: I’ve actually played every position except quarterback, wide receiver, and corner.
Q: When did you realize you wanted to play at the next level?
A: When I went to the football University Camp and made Top Gun, then I knew I was good and had what it took to be successful.
Q: What sports did you play growing up?
A: I played basketball when I was in middle school.
Q: What is your favorite part about playing defensive tackle?
A: Knowing that the game can lie on your shoulders, and you can make a big play at any time.
Q: Most difficult part of playing defensive tackle?
A: The growing pains you have to endure. Every one is usually stronger than you when you first get here.
Q: Who is your role model?
A: Aaron Donald (St. Louis Rams). Because we are of similar height and play the same position. We’re looked down upon sometimes, and we have to prove everybody wrong.
Q: Favorite food?
A: Chicken and French fries.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: Menace to Society and the Avengers
Q: Favorite music artist?
A: J. Cole, Big Sean, and Fetty Wap.
Q: What’s on your iPod?
A: Mostly all hip-hop, rap, and R&B.
Q: Favorite NFL team?
A: Atlanta Falcons
Q: Favorite athlete?
A: Probably Stephen Curry or Lebron James.
Q: One place you want to travel to?
A: Australia

A: Kevin Hart

A: I listen to the same playlist before every game.
