DYSINA, Czech Republic – Old Dominion University women’s golfer Katerina Vlasinova was the highest placing amateur at the Tipsport Golf Masters over the weekend at Golf Park Pilsen. The tournament featured 132 total competitors, while Vlasinova was one of 12 amateurs. Vlasinova finished the three-day tournament in 40th place, finishing with a -1 (212) score for 54 holes.
One of only two amateurs (Vlasinova and Lea Klimentova) who made the cut after the first two rounds of play, the rising sophomore at OId Dominion fired a 72 on day one, a weekend best 68 in round two, followed by another 72 in the final round.
During her freshman campaign at ODU, Vlasinova was named to the All Conference USA Third Team.
