Charlottesville, Va. – ODU freshman golfer Maggie Simmermacher (Buenos Aires, Argentina) has been named to the 2015 VaSID All-State Women’s Golf Squad released today by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID). The team combines players from both the University and College divisions.
Simmermacher was named Conference-USA’s Freshman of the Year and first team All-League selection. She tied for fourth at the C-USA Championshps And was named C-USA Golfer of the Week three times. Simmermacher tied for second at the John Kirk Tournament in Atlanta, GA., and fourth at the ECU Lady Pirate Intercollegiate.
