NEWPORT, R.I. - Old Dominion University coed sailing is in sixth place after the first day of the Gill coed semifinals on Monday.
The Division A team of Esteban Forrer and Gabriel Smith earned second place with seven top-five places in eight races including a win in the first race of the day.
The Division B squad of Augie Dale, Daniel Lochner, Grace Mason and Colin Voigt nothced 11th, finishing with four top-10 places.
The racing continues on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
