ODU leads the series, 87-59. Last year, VCU defeated ODU in Atlanta, 6-3, and ODU beat the Rams in Richmond, 6-4. The last time the two played here at the Bud was 2012 with VCU winning two of three games.

ODU BASEBALL HITTING FACILITY DEDICATION The Paul A. Keyes indoor hitting facility dedication will be Wednesday, April 8 at 3:00. ODU head coach Chris Finwood along with Mrs. Tricia Keyes, wife of the late Paul Keyes and ODU Athletic Director Dr. Wood Selig will be on hand for the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony. Keyes, the former VCU head baseball coach and graduate of Old Dominion University (‘84) died in Nov. of 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.

ODU Baseball hosts 3rd Annual "Bark in the Park"For the third year, Old Dominion Baseball is partnering with the Norfolk SPCA to host "Bark in the Park" night at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex. On Friday, April 17th, at 6pm the Baseball Monarchs will host the Marshall Thundering Herd and fans can bring their dogs into the game for the only time this season. A special area in Rally Alley will be reserved for pets and their owners. The game will be the first part of a three-game weekend series between the Monarchs and Marshall.
