NORFOLK, VA—Old Dominion University men’s basketball coach Jeff Jones has announced guard Deion Clark’s decision to transfer. Clark is a 6-3 red-shirt sophomore from Naples, FL.
“Deion informed me yesterday that he intends to transfer to another institution closer to home in hopes of garnering more playing time,” said Jones. “Deion is an outstanding young man and a terrific teammate. We wish him the very best at his next stop.”
Clark played in 20 games this season, averaging 0.8 points per game and 0.6 rebounds per game. He missed the 2013-14 season with an injury. As a freshman, Clark scored a career high 13 points against Delaware and 12 against Murray State with nine starts. In all, Clark has played in 37 contests at ODU.
