The Old Dominion sailing monarchs had a good weekend on the water as they finished fourth and sixth at their regattas.
The Monarchs finished sixth out of 20 teams at the Navy Spring Coed regatta this past weekend. Sailing in Division A were Esteban Forrer and Gabriel Smith who had 11 top-ten finishes, to take fourth in their division behind Georgetown, Stanford and the College of Charleston. Daniel Lochner, Lee Dumaliang and Colin Voigt sailed for the Monarchs in Division B and took 11th with eight top-ten finishes.
The Monarchs also sailed at the Thompson Trophy regatta at Connecticut College where they took fourth overall behind Yale, Boston College and Fordham. In Division A, Augie Dale and Grace Mason finished fifth with 10, top-ten finishes, five of which were in the top five. Joseph David and Kaylie Gallagher sailed in Division B and finished ninth with eight top-ten finishes, three in the top-five, while Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little tied for second with Yale in Division C and recorded 11 top-ten finishes, eight being top-five results.
