Fellow freshman Katerina Vlasinova (Trebic, Czech Republic) is tied for 12th after shooting 75-74=149 and junior Charlotte Hindmoor (Darlington, England) is 23rd after shooting 77-75=152.
Simmermacher, the C-USA Player of the Week on April 1 is tied for first in par 3 scoring (2.75/ -2) and par 4 scoring (4.00/E). She also leads the event with 10 birides, while Vlasinova is third with six. The final round is Sunday.
