NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football held its seventh practice of the spring on Tuesday morning at the L.R. Hill practice field.
Working out in full pads, ODU held a one hour and 45 minute practice that featured several team periods, inside drill, one-on-one's and special teams work, specifically with the kickoff team.
In the team drills, a Shuler Bentley to Marques Little 30-yard touchdown pass highlighted the offensive day while Bunmi Rotimi notched a pair of sacks and Aquante Thornton nearly intercepted a pass.
The Monarchs will be back on the practice field on Thursday. ODU will scrimmage for the second time this spring on Saturday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
