ODU travels to Lynchburg, VA to play Liberty for a 4:00 p.m. contest which will be televised on ESPN3. The Monarchs will then return home Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game with William and Mary.Mashaw will be the primary play-by-play announcer on the audio stream broadcasts beginning with the season opener at Coastal Carolina, Feb. 13th.
ODU will also audio stream the contest on its athletic website through Monarch Media. Fans can sign up for the audio stream on the ODU website (odusports.com) for $9.95 per month. Andy Mashaw will provide the play-by-play.
Liberty is led by Alex Close who is hitting .356 with two homers and 27 RBI. Becker Sankey is hitting .297 with a team best seven homers and 22 RBI. The Flames, who like ODU were in the NCAA Tournament last year are scheduled to start Michael Stafford (2-2/5.68).
