IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Thursday’s contest was originally scheduled for 11:00 a.m. due to the program’s first ever Field Trip Day, which was from an outgrowth of the popularity of the Lady Monarchs annual Education Day, a partnership with Norfolk Public Schools. However, inclement weather and adverse travel conditions caused the schools in the surrounding areas to have to cancel.

Elementary school children from any of the 13 Hampton Roads school districts, as well as private schools were expected to be on hand before mother nature got in the way. Students from 18 schools were expected to be on-hand from a wide-range of cities throughout Hampton Roads, including Suffolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Hampton, Wakefield and Norfolk.

NEXT UP FOR THE MONARCHS
Old Dominion will be back in action at home this Saturday for SENIOR DAY, in which Tiffany Minor and Chelisa Painter will be honored prior to tipoff. The Lady Monarchs will then take on North Texas, with tipoff slated for 1:00
