NORFOLK,VA—Because of the inclement weather, the ODU-Rutgers baseball series scheduled for this weekend at the Bud Metheny Complex has been relocated to the Cal Ripken Complex in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The schedule for games, all versus Rutgers, in Myrtle Beach is as follows.

THE SERIES VS. RUTGERS
Rutgers leads the series, 32-19. ODU won last year's series, taking two of the three games. Overall this the 19th consecutive season the two have played.
ABOUT RUTGERS(0-4):
Rutgers is now a member of the Big10 Conference. The Scarlet Knights are led in hitting by Mike Carter (.375), followed by Tom Marcinczyk (.267/3 RBI). On the mound Rutgers is led by lefthander Howie Brey (0-1/1.50). Head Coach Joe Litterio is in his second season at Rutgers.

ABOUT ODU (0-3): This will be the Monarchs first game since Feb. 15. Senior designated hitter Josh Eldridge leads the squad with a .545 batting average with four doubles, a homer and two RBI's. Nick Lustrino is hitting .333 with four hits and Taylor Ostrich has also knocked in two runs.
23 Baseball Games To Air On Star 1310 AM
ODU and Max Media of Hampton Roads have announced that 23 Monarch baseball games will be aired this spring on Star 1310 WGH AM, beginning March 20 when the Monarchs host defending Conference USA Champion and pre-season number 15 Rice.
Ted Alexander, ODU’s Director of Broadcasting and the voice of ODU football and men’s basketball, will serve as the primary play-by-play voice assisted by Doug Ripley, who has served as host announcer for the Karen Barefoot’s coaches show and play-by-play voice for the Lady Monarch basketball games the past three years. Also assisting on some of the broadcasts will be Andy Mashaw who is the analyst on ODU football broadcasts. Mashaw will be the primary play-by-play announcer on the audio stream broadcasts.
Two Baseball Games To Be Televised Nationally By ASN
American Sports Network (ASN) has announced its Conference USA Baseball television schedule for the 2015 season, featuring each of the league’s 12 schools. The current schedule consists of 11 regular season league games to appear nationally on the syndicated network. ODU will have two contests televised which include the March 28 contest at Middle Tennessee and a home game on May 2 against FIU.
