NORFOLK, Va. – Due to inclement weather in Hampton Roads, Old Dominion University athletics has made the following schedule changes.
The men's tennis match scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20 against Charlotte has been postponed. There is no makeup date scheduled at this time. The match on Sunday, Feb. 22 against Yale is still on as scheduled.
The baseball weekend series against Seton Hall has been cancelled. The game against Liberty scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24 has been postponed and rescheduled April 6 at 6 p.m. The Monarchs added a game against Norfolk State on March 3 at 3 p.m. at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex. There will also be an added game held on April 20th against William & Mary at 7:00 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton, Va., and against Rutgers on Saturday, Feb. 28th, where there will be a doubleheader.
The Lady Monarchs' lacrosse match set for Friday, Feb. 20 against Campbell has been moved to Campbell. ODU will travel to Campbell with the game starting at 3 p.m.
The ODU baseball game against East Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 18 has been postponed. The contest has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at 4 p.m.
The ODU lacrosse contest scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18 against Longwood has been postponed. The game will be made up on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The Meet the Monarchs Breakfast scheduled for Wednesday, February 18 is postponed and has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 4 from 7:30- 8:30 a.m. in the Big Blue Room of the Ted Constant Center. The breakfast will be $5 in advance, or $10 at the door. Reservations can be made by calling 757-683-6963 or clicking here.
