IRVING, TEXAS – For the fourth time this season, Old Dominion University senior diver Rachel Eckert was named Conference USA Diver of the Week, C-USA announced on Tuesday.
Eckert continued her dominance on the diving board at the dual meet against East Carolina Saturday evening. The veteran was the best on the one-meter dive with a score of 274.32. The Rochester, New York, native holds the top marks in C-USA this season in both the one-meter and three-meter dives, both NCAA Zone Qualifying scores. Eckert also placed third in the three-meter dive with a 248.70.
Eckert and the Monarchs take on William and Mary on Saturday, Jan. 24 at the J.C. Scrap Chandler Pool. Diving starts at 9 a.m. with the rest of the meet beginning at 1 p.m.
