NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football will hold its annual Pro Day on Thursday, Mar. 19.
The 2014 ODU senior class will perform various drills in front of NFL scouts, doing workouts such as the bench press, 3-cone drill and 40-yard dash, as well as positional drills.
Quarterback Taylor Heinicke will play in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on the NFL Network. Long Snapper Rick Lovato will play in the Gridiron College Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 31.
The Monarchs currently have two former players in the CFL in quarterback Thomas DeMarco, and linebacker Deron Mayo, who just helped the Calgary Stampeders win the Grey Cup. Offensive lineman D.J. Morrell was on the Buffalo Bills practice squad this season and signed a future contract with the Bills for the 2015 season.
