STATE COLLEGE, PA-- Old Dominion University junior Charlotte Hindmoor (Darlington, England) fired a second round 71 and is now tied for second after two rounds at the Nittany Lion Invitational being played at the Penn State Blue Course.
Hindmoor has a 36 hole score of 137, six strokes behind the tournament leader, Ariana Coyle of host Penn State (68-73=141). Hindmoor is tied for second with Frida fougberg of Akron and Anne Cheng of Harvard. Sophomore Rachel Walker (Dumfries, Scotland) shot 77 in the second round and is tied for 28th with a 153 total score, while freshman Katerina Vlasinova shot 75 today and has a 36 hole score of 155 to tie for 34th.
As a team, the Lady Monarchs moved up to eighth after shooting 303 today, eight strokes better than yesterday's 311. Columbia leads the tournament at 598.
The final round will be played on Sunday.
