Pascal, Vaughan, Named to Phil Steele Mid-Season All-C-USA Team

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football wide receivers Zach Pascal and Antonio Vaughan were named to the Phil Steele Midseason All-Conference USA Team, the publication recently announced.

Pascal, a sophomore from Upper Marlboro, Md., was named to the first-team, leads the Monarchs with 37 receptions for 509 yards along with five touchdowns.  He ranks second in the league in receiving yards and is fourth in receptions.  Pascal caught a season high nine passes at NC State and had back-to-back 100-yard receiving games at Rice and Middle Tennessee.

A senior from Ahoskie, N.C., Vaughan earned second-team honors and is second on the team with 31 catches for 433 yards and is tied for seventh in the nation with seven touchdown catches.  He had a season best eight catches and a touchdown at NC State and seven grabs for 105 yards and three touchdowns against Middle Tennessee.  Vaughan also had a 46-yard punt return touchdown in the win over Eastern Michigan.

The Monarchs return to action this weekend when they travel to Western Kentucky for a 4 p.m. EST kickoff.
