The USTA/ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players across the country. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete at one of the 84 USTA/ITA Regional Championships held across the country.
The winners of the singles and doubles draws at this event earn automatic bids into next month's USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in New York City.
Last year, Carlos Lopez Villa took down No. 5 seed Alexis Heugas from VCU in the UTSA/ITA Regional Singles Main Draw Championship to become only the second male in school history to capture the Regional Single’s crown and the first ever since the ITA downsized to only 12 regions.
