The Old Dominion sailing team traveled to three different regattas this past weekend. The Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men’s Singles, the David Lee Arnoff/ HWS Fall Regatta and the Navy Fall Women’s. The Monarchs finished 15th, eighth and 13th overall in the respective regattas.

In the Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men’s Singles, Jeremy Herrin finished 15th with a pair of top-three finishes.

At the David Lee Arnoff/ HWS Fall Regatta the Monarchs came out eighth overall of 14 boats. In the Division A boat, Joseph David and Kaylie Gallagher finished fifth on the weekend.David and Gallagher had one top-three finish out of seven races. In the Division B boat, Jacob Spracher and Carter Little had a seventh place finish including two top-threes.

The Monarchs had three boats compete in the Navy Fall Women’s. The Monarchs finished 13th overall in the regatta. The Division A boat sailed by Andrea Luna, Katelyn Talley and Collin Voigt, finished ninth with three top-three finishes. Sarah Streater and Cady Johnson sailing in the Division B boat finished 14th. Jaclyn Hollander finished 11th in the Division C boats including one top-three finish.

The Monarchs will be back out on the water next weekend, Oct. 18-19, when they compete in the Henry Luce/2nd War Qualifier, Navy Fall Regatta and the Yale Women's Regatta.
