NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion quarterback Taylor Heinicke and wide receiver Antonio Vaughan are on the fan ballots for the Davey O’Brien and Paul Hornung Award, Respectively.

Heinicke is 137-of-206 for 1,534 passing yards along with 14 touchdowns so far this season. He also has 72-yards rushing and a touchdown.
He leads all active FBS quarterbacks in career passing yards, total offense, completions, points responsible for and passing touchdowns.
Vaughan has 27 receptions for 385 receiving yards and is second in the country with seven receiving touchdowns. He has also returned six punts for 100 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown against Eastern Michigan, and has ran the ball five times for 29-yards.
The O’Brien Award is given to the best quarterback in the FBS while the Hornung Award is given to the most versatile player.
Heinicke is currently 15th in the fan voting for the O’Brien Award. Vaughan is currently second in the fan voting for the Hornung Award, which accounts for six percent of the voting process.
