NORFOLK, Va. – No. 19 Old Dominion (5-4) defeated James Madison (6-2) by a 4-0 final score Sunday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. The ODU field hockey team won their fourth-consecutive game and recorded their second shutout of the season.

Freshman forward Victoria Rezette (Wezembeek-Oppem, Belgium) got the Lady Monarchs on the board first with her second goal of the season at the 11:47 mark. Junior defender Caitlin Walsh (Downingtown, Pa.) followed Breen’s goal with her first goal of the year. Walsh controlled a pass by Villagra at the 57:12 mark to give the Lady Monarchs a 3-0 lead. Breen then scored her second tally of the game off of a penalty corner set up by Villagra and senior midfielder Kelsey Smither (Suffolk, Va.)
