TULSA, Okla. – No. 42 Carlos Lopez Villa and Zvonimir Podvinski will be competing in the 2014 Saint Francis Health System ITA All-American Championships this weekend in Tulsa, Okla. The rest of the Tennis Monarchs will venture down to North Carolina to take part in the Elon Invitational.
No. 42 Carlos Lopez Villa was one of just 48 players to earn a direct birth into the Main Draw of the All-American Championships. Over 250 student-athletes are playing in the Qualifying Rounds in hopes to solidify one of the 16 final spots within the Main Draw.
Prequalifying competition takes place on Sept 27 and 28, while Qualifying action will be held on Sept. 29 through Oct. 1.

The other eight rostered Tennis Monarchs will compete in the 2014 Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center in Elon, N.C.
