JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Former Old Dominion University All-American sailor Julia Wiesner was recently named an assistant sailing coach at Jacksonville University.
A captain on the 2013 ODU team, Wiesner helped ODU to a sixth place at the Gill National Championships and 11th at the Team National Championships. She was a two-time All-ICSA honoree.
Jacksonville is a young program, starting a varsity team in 2012.
