COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Old Dominion field hockey team scored three second half goals to defeat the Maryland Terrapins 4-3 in exhibition play on Sunday afternoon at the Maryland Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.
With the score tied 1-1 at the intermission, the Lady Monarchs rattled off three goals to secure the win in regulation time. Megan Byas (Driffield, England), Katie Fuhrman (Columbia, Pa.), Victoria Rezette (Wezembeek-Oppem, Belgium) and Nicole Goff (Collegeville, Pa.) each scored for the Lady Monarchs.
ODU officially opens the 2014 season on Aug. 29 on the road in State College, Pa. where it will take on Penn State at 5:00 p.m.
