NORFOLK, VA—Nick Walker (Virginia Beach, VA.) and Sam Sinnen (Virginia Beach, Va.) have been selected to play in the 2014 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game scheduled for Tuesday, July 15 at Historic Dunn Field in Elmira, NY.
Both Walker, an infielder and Sinnen play for The Elmira Pioneers who are in second place of the West Division. Walker is hitting .281 with 14 RBI and stolen bases along with six stolen bases and 19 runs scored. Sinnen is 4-1 with a 1.57 earned run average. He has 20 strikeouts in 28.2 innings of work in six starts.
Nick Walker earned Freshman All-American honors and was the only freshman in C-USA to be named to the first team all-League squad as the Monarchs compiled a 36-26 record and advanced to the NCAA Regionals.
