NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University sailing had three student-athletes on the 2014 Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) All-American Team. Esteban Forrer, Chloe Constants and Julia Wiesner all earned the All-American honors.
Constants earned All-American honors for the second-straight season at crew. A senior from Annapolis, Md., Constants sailed for both the women’s and co-ed teams this season, improving the women’s squad to a fourth place finish at the national championships.
Also a senior, Wiesner earned her first All-American honor, helping ODU place sixth at the sailing co-ed nationals championships this spring.
Forrer, a native of Tuscon, Ariz., also earned his first All-American accolade after being named ODU team MVP this year. The sophomore helped the Monarchs to sixth place co-ed finish and an 11th place at the team championships.
