URPS AND WALKER NAMED TO C-USA ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM

HATTIESBURG, MS.—ODU’s senior shortstop Tyler Urps and freshman outfielder/infielder Nick Walker have been selected to the Conference USA All-Tournament squad.
Join the Monarchs at University Pizza on 5008 Colley Avenue in Norfolk to watch the NCAA Pairings announcement at 12 noon Monday. The Pairings will be televised live on ESPNU.
Urps led the Monarchs with a .412 tournament batting average, while Walker leads the Monarchs with a .319 average with four homers, a team best 43 runs scored and 26 RBI. Last week, Walker was selected to the first team All-Conference squad and All-Rookie team.
C-USA’s Tournament champion Rice’s Michael Aquino, who went 12-for-21 to hit .571 with two homers and 10 RBI was named the Tournament MVP.
