KING’S POINT, N.Y. – Old Dominion University sailing featured four student-athletes on the All-Conference Team announced after yesterday’s championship. Esteban Forrer, Andrea Luna, Chloe Constants and Julia Wiesner earned All-Conference honors.
Forrer, a sophomore from Tucson, Ariz., was named First-Team Coed skipper while Luna, a junior from Caracas, Venezuela, was named First-Team Women’s skipper. Constants and Wiesner earned First-Team accolades as crew.
The group has been a large part of the reason ODU has finished in fourth place or better in events each of the last four weekends, including a fourth place finish at the America Trophy Conference Championship over the weekend.
The group was part of the team that qualified for the ICSA/APS Team Race National Championships that be held May 31-June 2 at St. Mary's (Md.).
