ORLANDO, Fla. - The Old Dominion women's rowing Varsity 8 finished Sunday in second place ahead of Tulsa and UCF with a time of 7:11.57.
ODU competed against Tulsa, Miami (Florida) and Central Florida on Sunday.
The day began with the third Varsity 8 team as ODU finished third with a time of 7:56.72. The Lady Monarchs would send their Varsity 4 in the next race as ODU took third with a 8:32.25 ahead of Miami.
The Second Varsity 8 began the race at 10 a.m. as ODU finished fourth with a 7:31.45 time.
Old Dominion's Varsity 8 rounded out the weekend racing placing second, three seconds ahead of Tulsa and four seconds ahead of UCF.
Sunday Results
Saturday- The ODU Varsity 8 completed day one defeating Tulsa with a time of 6:36.1, which was the second fastest recorded time of the day.
Old Dominion's Varsity 4 took second (7:38.3) behind Tulsa's time of 7:34.1. ODU beat four other boats best times including Tulsa's 2V4, UCF's V4, UCF's 2V4 and Miami's V4.
