CORNELL, N.Y. – Old Dominion University sailing delivered a trio of top-three finishes over the weekend. The women’s team finished third at the MAISA Women’s Championships while the co-ed team finished second at the Admiral’s Cup.
At the MAISA Women’s Championships, the Division A team of Andrea Luna and Chloe Constants finished second in their division, notching a top-five finishes with three second place runs and a first place finish. The Division B team comprised of Corina Radtke, Rachel Austin, Grace Mason and Jill Fattibene and earned a third place spot. The team had five top-five’s which included three second place finishes.
ODU finished just behind Georgetown and Navy, and ahead of host Cornell.
The Monarch co-ed team earned a second place finish at the Admiral’s Cup. The Division A team featuring Esteban Forrer, Julia Wiesner and Gabriel Smith garnered six top-five’s and had three wins to capture eighth in the division.
Daniel Lochner and Colin Voigt finished ninth in Division B with four top-five’s while Nathan Fields took second in Division C, grabbing 12 top-five finishes with three wins and six second place runs.
