DENVER, Colo.- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team takes on the University of Denver this Sunday at 1 p.m. EST (11 a.m. Mtn. Time) from Peter Barton Stadium.
Old Dominion (3-10) led Colorado the entire first half, but were held scoreless for a little more than 20 minutes in the second half and fell 12-10. Senior co-captain Emily Austerberry scored her 100th career point on her first of four goals. ODU has played in nine games decided by four goals or less.
ODU senior defender Kallie McCormick is tied for first on the Lady Monarchs with 27 ground balls, while senior co-captain Emily Austerberry leads ODU with 27 draw controls, 32 goals and 42 points on 63 shots. Freshman goalkeeper Maggi Buckley is 2-5 and has a 12.59 goals against average and .436 save percentage.

Denver Players to Watch: Junior attacker Jill Remenapp leads Denver with 40 assists and 60 points this season. Senior midfielder Meredith Harris (Middleburg, Va.) leads the Pioneers with 46 goals and is second on the team with 57 points on 79 shots. Senior midfielder Sonorah Vinyard leads Denver with 43 draw controls and 23 caused turnovers.
Scouting the Pioneers: Denver has won every game except one this season (12-7 loss to Louisville). The Pioneers are currently ranked No. 20 and are a perfect 9-0 at home, having won 12 in a row. Denver defeated California 12-5 and Southern California 8-7 as sophomore Christa Reese finished off two goals and two assists.
