NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football held its eighth practice and first scrimmage of the spring season Sunday evening at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
On a cool, windy day, the defense led the charge forcing a pair of turnovers while the defensive line was able to put pressure on the quarterback for much of the scrimmage.
Defensive linemen Andrew Everett and Jude Brenya among other were able to manage sacks while Sandy Chapman intercepted two passes on the day.
The Monarchs are back on the practice field tomorrow as they practice four times this week.
