AUSTIN, Texas - Old Dominion University senior swimmer Sidni Hoxha set his second school record in two days, as he finished 18th in the 100-Freestyle in an ODU record time of 42.64 Saturday afternoon at the University of Texas.
Hoxha was seeded 29th entering the race, but his school record time bumped him up 11 spots as he missed the finals by just .11 seconds.
Hoxha set the ODU record in the 200-Free yesterday in a time of 1:35.74
The 100-free was the final race of Hoxha's career in which the native of Albania was a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier, the 2013 CAA Swimmer of the Year, three-time All-CAA honoree and 2011 CAA Rookie of the Year. Hoxha is the owner of seven school records, including the 50, 100 and 200-freestyle, all records he set this season, while he also was a part of four relay teams.
