NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team hosts the Virginia Tech Hokies this Saturday at 1 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex. This game will mark Senior Day for ODU seniors Courtney Clough, Emily Austerberry and Kallie McCormick.
Old Dominion (3-7) led No. 16 Virginia by a 2-0 score before falling 19-8 in their previous game last Wednesday. Senior attacker Emily Austerberry tallied three goals and five points on the night, while freshman midfielder Megan Cameron added two goals on the night. ODU managed to take 11 out of the 22 available ground balls and local Charlottesville player Connor Carson set up two goals with her two assists that evening.
ODU senior defender Kallie McCormick leads the team with 17 caused turnovers and is second to freshman goalkeeper Maggi Buckley with picking up 23 ground balls. Austerberry leads ODU with 23 draw controls, 22 goals and 32 points on 49 shots.

Previous Meeting at Home: Lady Monarchs Lisa Bernardini, Rebecca Hartum and Sarah Wright all scored three goals but ODU fell short by a 13-12 final in 2012 from the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
Virginia Tech Players to Watch: Junior attacker Megan Will leads the Hokies with 27 goals, 15 assists and 42 points on 60 shots this season. Junior attacker Meg Bartley leads Virginia Tech with 54 draw controls. Sophomore midfielder Meghan Macera currently is first on the team with 27 ground balls. Freshman goalkeeper Meagh Graham has started all ten games and is 4-4 with a 20.35 goals against average and a .347 save percentage.
Scouting the Hokies: Virginia Tech had won their last two game against William & Mary (11-10) and Coastal Carolina (18-9) before they ran into No. 1 North Carolina last Wednesday and lost 21-9. VT is 2-3 on the road this year.
