This week's featured guest is ODU lacrosse freshman midfielder, Connor Carson. In the video Connor describes her first thought in joining the lacrosse program, her challenges among being in college so far, how she got started in Lacrosse, among other things.

A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Carson will return home this Wednesday to play her hometown team, The University of Virginia. Carson has played in all nine games so far this season and has eight goals, seven assists, and fifteen points.

Q: What was the first thought you had when joining the lacrosse program?
A: I was very nervous but really excited to have the opportunity to come out and play with really high-end girls to improve and get better. Playing at the Division I level, you never maintain at one level; you always get better.

Q: What is the most challenging thing you've had to do in college so far?
A: The adjustment coming in from high school; sleep, homework, practice schedule, getting up early, and just getting used to it.

Q: What is your most memorable sports experience?
A: Deciding that I wanted to play Division I and having the opportunity to come here; it’s my dream.

Q: How did you get started here in Lacrosse?
A: I actually had a back injury, I did gymnastics, and I just wanted to try Lacrosse in seventh grade. I did and look where it took me!

Q: What made you want to commit here at Old Dominion?
A: On my visits, I loved the campus. The team seemed really welcoming and the facilities are amazing!
