BLACKSBURG, Va. - Old Dominion University diver Rachel Eckert finished in 13th place in today's 3-meter dive in the Zone A Championships on the campus of Virginia Tech. With her fourth place finish in yesterday's 1-meter dive, Eckert will wait and see if she has been selected to the NCAA Championships.
After the preliminary round today, Eckert was in 10th place with 266.65 points, but dropped to 13th in the finals with an overall score of 535.55.
Eckert has set ODU records in both the 1 and 3-meter dives this year, winning the 3-meter dive at the Conference USA Championships and earning a second place finish in the 1-meter dive.
