JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Old Dominion University women's lacrosse team continues their road trip this weekend as the Lady Monarchs play Jacksonville University Saturday at 11 a.m. at the D.B. Mine Field.

Old Dominion (1-2) is coming off a 15-11 win against Stetson University on Thursday night. ODU received three goals from senior attacker Emily Austerberry and two goals from six different players.

Austerberry leads Old Dominion with six goals, 18 shots, five draw controls and 11 points this season. Mary McCaleb has netted five goals this year, while Christina Rea and Connor Carson have four goals apiece. Junior goalkeeper Karen Hayde leads ODU with 11 ground balls.

Previous Meeting: March 2 2013. Jacksonville got the better of ODU by a 14-4 final last season. Current ODU lacrosse players Emily Austerberry scored twice and Christina Rea scored a goal, while Jordynn Collins added a late score. Goalkeeper Karen Hayde collected a season-high 14 saves in the game.

Jacksonville Players to Watch: Senior attacker Morgan Derner leads the Dolphins with nine goals on 14 shots this season. Junior attacker Taylor McCord has 13 points on the season, which includes eight goals. Sophomore midfielder Kelsey Wiglesworth leads Jacksonville with 11 draw controls and has also played nine minutes in net. Junior goalkeeper Asia Moore has made 36 saves, while featuring a 17.26 goals against average and .343 save percentage.

Scouting the Dolphins: Jacksonville starts this season 1-3 after coming off a 16-15 double overtime loss to James Madison on Feb. 22. Jacksonville received four goals from Derner and two from McCord. The Dolphins were outshot 32-24 yet and lost the ground ball battle by a 18-14 count, but were able to clear 16 out of 18 times in the game.
