NORFOLK, Va. – The Karen Barefoot Coach's Radio Show returns Feb. 17 from 7-8 p.m. at the YNOT Pizza and Italian Cuisine in the ODU Village. Monday’s special guest will be 5’10 senior guard from Freixo Ponte De Lima, Portugal: Michelle Brandao.
This past week, Brandao was instrumental in ODU winning both their road games in Texas against Rice and UTSA. Against Rice on Wednesday, Brandao dished out five beautiful assists to go along with hauling down three rebounds in the Lady Monarch’s 85-49 run-away victory over Rice.
Karen Barefoot will join host and Voice of the Lady Monarchs Doug Ripley live at the YNOT Pizza and Italian Cuisine in the University Village on ESPN Radio 94.1 FM, home of Lady Monarchs basketball, throughout the season to review the previous week’s games and give insight into the upcoming Lady Monarchs matchups.
